Top Three Reasons to Come In for a Checkup Today

Top Three Reasons to Come In for a Checkup TodayHow long has it been since your last dental cleaning or checkup? If you aren't sure, it is likely time for you to come into our office. We recommend checkups every six months, but regardless of how long it's been since your last appointment, we are here to help.

We'll Clean Your Teeth

A dental cleaning in our office goes well beyond what you can do in your own at home. When plaque accumulates on the teeth and is not removed, it hardens into a substance called tartar. You wouldn't be able to get tartar off on its own, and when left on the teeth, it can lead to cavities. Throughout our cleaning process, we will remove plaque and tartar from your teeth while also polishing them and removing stains. Your teeth will feel and look healthier when you leave our office.

We'll Diagnose Your Problem

A toothache isn't the only sign of a dental problem. When you are in our office, we can look for the signs of a problem with the teeth, gums, and other oral tissues. Dental x-rays can also help us identify issues hidden underneath the surface.

We'll Save You Money

Even if you aren't experiencing a dental health problem, regular dental checkups can save you money. When we remove plaque and tartar from the teeth, we will prevent future cavities and gum disease, which may require treatment. Preventive dentistry also gives us a chance to detect oral health concerns when they are in their earliest stages, and turning this time, they are the least expensive to treat. Waiting to visit our office when you have a full-blown problem may require costly and invasive treatments.
